The School
- In 2010, the school was, according to OFSTED, ranked 28th among private schools for value added to its student's A Level results, placing it within the top 5% nationally.
- In 2011, it was 79th among co-ed independent boarding schools for A-Level results. The school's pupils have achieved particularly good results at IB level.
- GCSE/IGCSE: 92 pupils in Year 11, 93% gaining at least grade C in 8+ subjects, 7% in 5-7 subjects (74% of pupils included English, maths, a science, a humanity and a modern language). A-levels/ IB: 166 in upper sixth. 70 took AS/A-levels, 97% passing in 3+ subjects with an average fi nal point score of 373. Of the 96 taking the IB, 99% passed the diploma with an average of 37.8 IB points.
- In September 2012 the college opened its first international school, Malvern College Qingdao, in Qingdao, China.
Admission
- Generally, parents register their children up to two years in advance, in order to secure a place at age 13, through sitting a Common Entrance exam (UK), or via the award of an open Academic Scholarship. Sixth Form entry is gained either through a scholarship exam, or by tests in the subjects to be studied.
- There are two key entry points for a pupil to gain a place at Malvern College. The majority join us at age 13 by taking Common Entrance (UK) or open Academic Scholarship.
Boarding Houses
- 50% have own study bedroom, 50% in dormitories of up to 11. Houses of approximately 60, same as competitive houses. Pupils can provide and cook own food at times. 1 or 2 fixed weekend leave-outs each term plus a week at half-term. Visits to the local town allowed.

- In 2011, the school was ranked 18th for the average grades of its IB pupils. In 2012, The Independent review of both A level and IB results, based on government issued statistics, ranked Malvern 32nd in the UK with 1080.7 points, ahead of Harrow (34th), Winchester (73rd), Eton (80th) and Wellington (89th).
